LED Facts:

• LEDs look way better, are brighter and flash faster – which is visually more stimulating.  Using these radically modernizes a pinball machine.  You’ll never play a regular pinball machine again once you see the before and after differences.  They are that dramatic!
• LEDs conserve power – which means they are better on your machine.  Even if you do not care about power savings ($$), the mere fact that using LEDs on your machine will preserve the life of the power supply, logic boards and wiring harnesses.
• LEDs do not emit heat.  This is also a major factor in pinball preservation.  Standard incandescent bulbs get so hot they actually will melt the plastic housings and put burn marks on the wood playfield.

What About Older Pinball Machines?

We will convert ANY pinball machine to LEDs.  Many machines were not wired correctly for the use of LEDs (either polarity issues or circuit issues).  We know how to correct that!

System 11 Flashers:  We also know how to properly convert Williams SYSTEM 11 based pinball machines to use LED flashers!  Don’t worry, these conversions are designed by a veteran Software and Electrical Engineer – so you know they will be done right.   You’ll note that all other companies selling LED kits will NOT include flashers for anything previous to the DMD era machines.

Price includes all LEDs and installation at our facility.   On-site installation is available as well.

We are now offering a flat rate service for “shopping” your pinball machine.  This service is typically used for machines that have been played for a while and now need attention to get them back fully working again.

Note:  pinball machines must be complete without parts missing.  If pinball machines are non-functional, additional charges may be incurred for repairing damaged boards etc.  We will not perform any unauthorized service that would incur additional charges.

Extra Charge Options:

• Extensive circuit board repair and installation (price varies on machine and extensive damage).
• Battery corrosion damage repair and new off board battery housing.  It may be cost effective on some machines to replace the MPU board and re-program all the EPROMs.
• Custom mechanical assembly (mini playfield, custom playfield toys etc, “Rudy” head),  including spot welding and solenoid replacement etc
• New plastic sets or slingshot plastics (most commonly damaged plastics)
• New DMD display
• Speaker replacement – 2 full range and 8″ sub, plus L-PAD and passive crossover network.  (see separate service in store).
• New chrome legs, bolts and levelers (see separate service in store).
• LED light retrofitting  – for solid state pinball machines only (see separate service in store).  Some EM machines may also be retrofitted.

Generally, time to completion is 3 days from time of pickup / drop off pinball machine.  Time may vary due to hard to find parts or extra work requested.

Ok, so you’ve upgraded your machine to LEDs, and it’s awesome.  Now you want more, right?  Well, we’re right with you!

You can now have additional lighting effects under your machine for a fully immersive experience!  These full length LED strips are added strategically under the pinball machine (mounted to the bottom) and wired into the flash circuitry.    So when you hit just the right combination, loop or special shot, the whole room lights up along with the playfield.  Every machine is different and only video can even come close to explaining the effect.

We can color match RED, BLUE, GREEN, WHITE, YELLOW and PURPLE effects in all combinations!

Note: this is not the same kit you see on other pinball sites.  This is not background lighting – but is flash effect lighting.  We of course can do static background lighting for the same cost as it is way easier to install.

Price includes parts and installation at our location.  On-site installation is available in our local delivery area at our hourly rate.

Stern pinball machines are great, however they did cut a couple of corners to save money.  Thankfully a large cost saver was in eliminating the backbox lighting.  The backbox insert (which housed many incandescent bulbs and flashers) was replaced by a single fluorescent tube lamp.   The result is that the backbox artwork does not have any animation and that the lighting is way overpowered.

With our kit, we replace the single tube lamp with multiple full length strips of LED lighting.   We also select a portion of the backglass where you can customize the color and select different color changing effects.

Price includes installation – at our facility and is not available as an over-the-counter item.  On-site installation is available at the hourly rate in the local delivery area.

If you a have a Wells Gardner 25″ or 27″ monitor that needs repair, send us the chassis (and all connected components) and we’ll repair and upgrade it back to new condition.

If we can’t fix it quick, we’ll send it back at no charge to you.

Requirements

• Must be Wells Gardner brand u2000, u5000, k7400 or k7500 monitor chassis.
• Must include neck board
• Must include wired remote control board
• Must not have burn damage.
• Must be complete.  If you have removed significant portions of the circuitry, we will not repair it.
• Do not send the entire monitor.  You need to know how to remove the chassis and neck board.
• Please pack carefully.  A midsize USPS box should fit everything fine with proper packaging

A single arcade monitor chassis will fit perfectly in a USPS flat rate box.  Wrap the neck board with a layer of bubble wrap separately from the main board.  Pack it with a layer of packing peanuts.  Please include the wired remote.

This P719 arcade monitor neck board has been out of production for many years and is one of the first items that need to be replaced on these monitors. This neck board houses the color transistors, video IC and associated logic to control the Red/Green/Blue guns and heater circuit.

If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, your neck board needs replacement:

* missing primary color (red, blue or green)
* adjusting contrast up smears the image
* cannot get enough contrast, but the contrast adjustment POT is showing some change on the screen
* In some cases, replacing the neck board may fix white screen with no image problem
